"Three ways to ruin a signal."
Stop stacking six plugins to get one dusty loop. TRIO runs 15 hand-coded lofi effects at the same time - bitcrush, tape wow, vinyl noise, valve warmth, lush reverb, stutter, Juno chorus, granular dust, filter sweeps, ping-pong delay and a full mastering bus - all inside a single window that never gets in your way. One plugin in. A finished, broken, beautiful sound out.
Dream / Glitch / Master
Most multi-FX plugins make you pick one thing at a time. TRIO does not. All three pages run in series, simultaneously, every time you play a note. The tabs are how you look at the plugin - not how it is wired. Crush it, wobble it, chorus it, delay it and glue it. In one pass.
Bitcrush, tape wobble, vinyl dust and a room that was never there.
Freeze a slice, wash it in Juno chorus, throw it across the field.
Bus polish with a lofi accent - gentle enough to sit on the mix.
The full rack
Not fifteen presets of the same reverb. Fifteen genuinely different processors, each written from scratch in DSP - each with its own Mix knob and its own bypass. Blend one in at 20%, slam another at 100%, switch off the rest.
Built properly
Most multi-FX plugins fake their bypass - the DSP keeps running and the result is thrown away. TRIO does not. Every one of the 15 effects lives in its own processing node, so switching an effect off genuinely stops it computing. Run all fifteen, or run three. Your CPU meter will know the difference.
The detail nobody else does
Every lofi plugin gives you vinyl hiss. Most leave it running over your silence like a broken fridge. TRIO’s Vinyl and Dust are gated by an envelope follower on your actual audio - the noise swells as you play and fades out on a tail when you stop. It behaves like surface noise on a record, not a noise generator underneath one.
The Juno inside
Not a generic sine-swept delay. TRIO’s chorus is modelled on the bucket-brigade circuit of a classic 80s synth - triangle LFO, shallow sweep, bandlimited wet path, and no feedback, which is exactly why it stays lush instead of turning metallic. The right channel runs the inverted sweep, so the two sides drift apart and back together. Wide, warm, and unmistakably vintage.
100 presets, 9 folders
No filler, no near-duplicates, and not one preset that leaves two thirds of the plugin idle. From Sunday Tape and Rainy Window to Total Collapse and Blown Speaker - each one is a full-chain sound, filed into nine folders so you can find the vibe in seconds.
The interface
No brushed metal, no fake screws, no 200 knobs fighting for your attention. TRIO is drawn like a pencil sketch on paper - every stroke hand-rendered, with a full dark mode one click away. Hover any control and a plain-English description appears at the bottom. You will actually know what every knob does.
Finish it in the same window
Tape saturation calibrated in real decibels, a one-knob tilt EQ, a proper glue compressor with full attack and release, mid/side width that keeps your low end mono, and a safety limiter on the output. Ruin your signal, then make it sit in a mix - without leaving the plugin.
3 Days Only - Then It Goes Back Up
That is 20 cents per effect. Fifteen processors, a hundred presets and a full mastering bus, for less than the coffee you are drinking. After 72 hours it returns to $59.50 and stays there.
