Hold SEARCH and the dial hops the band at random, then glides back home when you let go. Flip to AM for narrow, gritty mono or FM for wide, clean stereo. It’s not an effect you set. NOISE is a hiss floor that swells as you drift off-station. CRACKLE fires irregular pops with random spacing and level — never a metronome. MORSE bleeds tone pips in from the station next door. Then DRIFT wanders the tuning like an old analog dial, DROPOUT fades the signal at random, and BLEND decides how much of it you feel.

SATURATION is level-matched, so it adds warmth and grit rather than volume, and LOW CUT / HIGH CUT trim each radio’s natural band. RATTLE is the speaker itself — two detuned wobbles beating against each other like a loose cabinet panel, shaking the grille on screen as you turn it up. Every block has its own bypass that genuinely stops processing.
